If you've been following me on Twitter, you may have noticed my recent obsession for Girl Scout cookies. I know I'm diabetic, but I can save all of my daily carb intake on a single cookie, right? Yeah, I like to cheat, and I'm not afraid to admit it. Now an ordinary cookie search wouldn't be too difficult. There's something awesome called the Cookie Locator, and they even have an app for Apple products to make it super easy to hunt down some Girl Scout cookies.
went to local girl scout's website to find the awesome Cookie Locator
Girl Scout of the Chesapeake Bay

magically a map will appear of a few locations where you can find Girl Scout cookies

you can even click on a specific location to view the map and the times they are scheduled to be there

Pretty cool, huh? Yeah I thought so too. Thank you H for discovering this awesome Cookie Locator and coming home with a box of Thin Mints last Friday evening. He sure knows how to make a pregnant woman happy.
But wait! You didn't think it would be that easy, did you? Pregnant women crave whatever they see or smell. I saw someone post on Twitter about Girl Scout Lemonades, and I could not stop thinking about it. My Girl Scout cookie experience is limited to Thin Mints and Samoas, but this Lemonades cookie perked my interest. Ninja definitely wanted to try.
LEMONADES!!
Okay we have a very disappointing lead. How am I going to convince H to drive over the border for a box of Girl Scout cookies? Even pregnant Yin knows how crazy that sounds. No worries. I'll just be sneaky about it. Later that evening on our way back from HMart, I realize that we're already in Pennsylvania. Score! I used H's phone and tracked down a location in Glen Mills (the only place I'm somewhat familiar within Trader Joe's distance). Yesss!! Outback Steakhouse! Heck, this troop would be there until 8:00pm on a Sunday. I had plenty of time, and as soon as we arrived I eyed a bright yellow box from a distance. As I approached the table, I just knew that it had to be the famous Lemonades, and it was! Victory is mine!!
So I did what any normal person would do. I bought two whole boxes. Remember that I have never tasted one of these cookies in my entire life. I just had to buy two in case they turned out to be the king of all cookies. Let me tell you that those cookies did not disappoint. I slowly ate my one allotted cookie for the day and savored the yummy lemon flavor. Sooooo worth it!
I'm even debating making the drive past the border for some more boxes this weekend. I need to keep them in stock so that I can enjoy them (multiple cookies at a time) after my pregnancy. Muahahaha! Btw, this is the last weekend to get your Girl Scout cookies! Get your cookies before they disappear!

That's Henna Pryor (nee Merchant)'s blog (Sunny's sister if the memory needs jogging). Her first kidlet just turned one, and that blog post is all about her favorite bibs. They're handmade, found on Etsy, and affordable.
Give it a look! Henna's blog has a special promo code for extra savings.
Hope all things Ninja and not are going well!
@Emily Z: Thanks for the recommendation!!
